Field Operations oversees all operations that require physical action. Patrol Services, Special Weapons and Tactics, the K9 Unit, the Criminal Investigations Unit, and VIPER Operations are all overseen by Field Operations.

Patrol Services is responsible for standard patrol operations across Fulton County that does not require a level of special response or specific field of knowledge. Shifts are lead by Patrol Lieutenants, with Patrol Sergeants acting as standard field supervisors.
